Another is the fact that it wipes clean from hands and tools with just a dry rag. And it washes out of clothing too. For use on both plastic and metal pipe and fittings, MEGALOC is grit-free and does not contain PTFE. It sets soft; no cure time required; never hardens, cracks or becomes brittle. No odor. It’s non-separating, non-flammable, and non-hazardous, with leak-proof hydraulic resistance to 12,000 psi. It withstands gas pressure to 2600 PSI and performs over a temperature range of -50º to 400ºF (on steel pipe).
